In this article I confirm jc’s comment:
“Though UBF’s banned from U of M, they changed their name to Bible Reading Club. They are now operating under different name.” [http://ubfriends.net/what-canada-ubf-did-after-the-winnipeg-ubf-scandal/#comment-1061]
This is their new front.
This is the description of their “club”
These club seems like a typical college group on campus. But behind the surface it is not.
So you must be wondering: How do you know Jc’s intel is legit and not misleading? That is a good question considering the fact that on the old ubfriends site we used to have trolls.
In the club description there is one phrase that is used by UBF members: “pray for one another to enhance the quality of the individual’s campus life“.
As you can see their prayer topic is centered on college students.
In addition to this noticed their flyer for Sunday service: https://communitylink.umanitoba.ca/news/9661
Their Sunday service is at 2-4pm. Right there they have definitely given themselves away as part of UBF. How is this a dead give away? UBF is the only organization (to my knowledge) that has Sunday service in the afternoon.
If you are still skeptical check out Whole Number’s list of UBF’s insider language.
